Eight Etchings 1930-1959

portfolio of 8 etchings, all signed and numbered 35/50 in pencil with , as published in 1985, by Sylvan Cole Gallery.  13 x 10" ea. (sheet). All housed in publisher’s full gray cloth clamshell case, with lettering in gilt on upper cover and spine.. Until this printing, only proofs of these images were ever printed. Bishop died in 1988, unable to find the plates for these studies, noting they were among the best she had done. These plates were eventually found in a hallway cabinet in her home in Riverdale.
