Gibeon complete iron meteorite Heze, China (H5 Chondrite) complete stone. 21 grams. 1 x 1/2 x 3/4'
The Heze meteorites were witnessed to fall in the Shandong Province of China just before midnight on February 15, 1997. Nearly 70 Kilograms of this material was recovered. The Chinese believed that this fall from heavens foretold the death of Communist Party Chairman Deng Xiaopeng and hundreds of people swarmed to the area to collect their own. These H5 stones display classic fresh black burnt fusion crust. When cut, the face reveals bright metal grains and chondrules.

For in-house shipping, our fees include all packaging time and materials, handling, insurance and freight charges. Shipping costs are calculated on dimensional weight.
