Paul Landacre (American 1893-1963)- ''Smoke Tree Ranch'' (Zeitlin & Ver Brugge 25)- wood engraving, 1932, signed, titled and numbered 32/60 in pencil, annotated 'to Kathleen a ''swell''/ ''gorgeious'' girl/ Paul' in pencil, printed by the artist, very good condition. 10 1/8 x 6 3/4'' This is one of Landacre's earliest large sweeping California landscapes. First prize winner of the 1932 Print Club of California competition and selected for 'Fifty Prints of the Year' 1933.
