Bottle Whimsey by C. C. Hoke, 1903, made in Center, Ohio, with central shaft hanging from stopper with arms, hanging at end of arms are cubes with truncated corners, end of the shaft in a interlocking puzzle whimsey, at bottom of bottle are fabric flowers and a metal container labeled gun powder, a hand written sign in the bottle reads 'It was the desire of the inventor, C. C. Hoke, to prove this work genuine by leaving wood natural color and by placing small bottle of [gun] powder [inside] to prove the large bottle has not been blown over the work.' For in-house shipping, our fees include all packaging time and materials, handling, insurance and freight charges. Shipping costs are calculated on dimensional weight. The costs to ship may exceed value of item(s). Minimum fee for any package with in-house service is $30. Shipping and handling with our in-house services can be up to 3-5 weeks from time payment is received, due to high volume we handle from auction. If more expedited services are required, please contact an outside shipper.
We highly recommend requesting a shipping quote from us or an outside shipper, before bidding on an item. Items must be removed 10 days from date of payment received or storage fees will be charged.
