Marcellin Gilbert Desboutin (French 1823-1902)

Edouard Dujardin-Beaumetz (1868-1947) (Beraldi nd) (Clement-Janin 83, i/II - before the removal of the rim of the armchair)- drypoint, c. 1888, signed in pencil lower right, titled and inscribed in pencil "Portrait de l'ingenieur Dujardin-Beaumetz D'ap nature", edition 150/200, printed by Leroy (Chez Cadart) in black ink on cream laid paper with complete margins. 6 1/4 x 4 5/8"
2.) J. J. Henner (Beraldi V, p. 189) (Clement-Janin 123)- drypoint on chine colle, 1878, titled in pencil lower left, edition 150/200, printed and published by Cadart in black ink, with margins as issued, a possible proof before lettering. 6 3/16 x 4 7/16"
Jean-Jacques Henner(1829-1905) was a painter known for religious scenes and redheaded female nudes.
